Quality, Safety and Environmental Policy - Mk3 Group

The Mk3 Group (“Mk3”) is committed to delivering timely, cost-effective, and high-quality property loss assessment and repair services to insurance companies across Australia. Our services are aligned with client specifications, insurance industry guidelines, and applicable building repair standards in both Australia and New Zealand.

To govern our operations, ensure customer satisfaction, and continuously improve our performance, we have established and will maintain a robust Business Management System (BMS) that conforms to AS/NZS ISO 9001 (Quality Management), AS/NZS ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), AS/NZS ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management), and globally recognised sustainable supply chain principles. This system supports a process-based approach and ensures that performance objectives are measurable, monitored by responsible process owners and senior management.

We aim to achieve production efficiencies, strengthen supplier and stakeholder relationships, enhance customer satisfaction, foster ethical and socially responsible behaviour, implement sustainable business practices, and uphold a proactive commitment to health, safety, and continual improvement across all operations. All interactions with customers, employees, and service providers will be guided by principles of transparency, accountability, ethical conduct, respect for stakeholder interests, human rights, and full compliance with applicable legislation and regulations.

In delivering our services, we adopt a precautionary approach to environmental protection. We identify potential environmental risks and implement appropriate controls to prevent adverse impacts and pollution. We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint within our sphere of influence and in the recommendations, we provide to clients and stakeholders.

Workplace health, safety, and the wellbeing of our employees, contractors, and service providers are critical to achieving a sustainable and resilient organisation. We proactively assess work health and safety (WHS) risks and ensure that effective controls are in place to prevent injury, illness, and harm in accordance with the requirements of ISO 45001. We are committed to engaging and consulting with our workers and their representatives in the development, implementation, and continual improvement of our Health and Safety practices.

This Quality, Safety & Environmental Policy, along with its supporting objectives, will be communicated clearly to all employees and relevant service providers. We will ensure that employees are equipped with the necessary training, tools, infrastructure, and safe working conditions required to meet our service and delivery commitments.

We are committed to engaging and consulting with our workers and their representatives in the development, implementation, and continual improvement of our Health and Safety practices.

The policy, its associated objectives, and our business practices will be reviewed regularly by senior management to ensure ongoing suitability, effectiveness, and alignment with strategic goals. Any necessary revisions will be addressed through structured management review processes. All employees and management at Mk3 Group are committed to understanding, implementing, and maintaining the principles outlined in this policy.
